Composite Press Systems |
Accudyne
Engineering and Equipment Company is a recognized leader in composite
material forming, bonding and molding press technology. For over
twenty years, Accudyne had developed advanced technology press systems
for aerospace suppliers, aircraft and aero-engine manufacturers,
the automotive industry and manufacturers of high performance sports
accessories.
Up-Acting and
Down-Acting press systems can be configured for a wide range of applications
from deep draw components requiring ample daylight and stroke to large
platen size systems with single and multiple daylight openings for
bonding honeycomb panels to small platen size, light tonnage cabinet
style units for lower volume production and laboratory use.

- Accudyne
designs and manufactures platens utilizing our gun-drilling
capability for electric (up to 1800°F), steam, hot
water and thermal fluid heating (up to 800°F). Press
systems can be provided with auxiliary heating control
circuits to monitor and control tooling that is equipped
with integral heating elements.
- Process
control systems integrate proportional control valves
for programmable heating rates, air/water mist cooling
for in-mold curing, degas pulsation, precision position
control and hydraulic pressure ramp rates.
- Systems
can be equipped with custom engineered material handling
solutions, part ejection circuits and automated lower
platen shuttles for ease of part removal and tooling changes.
- Computer
control systems are available to provide advanced features
including data collection, process variable archiving
and real-time trending, process development and database,
and manufacturing engineering network interfaces.
- Process
control systems integrate proportional control valves
for programmable heating rates, precision position control
and hydraulic pressure ramp rates.
- All
Accudyne press systems are OSHA compliant and manufactured
to all recognized national industrial codes and standards.
